1 pound canned almond paste
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 large egg whites
1 1/2 cups pine nuts

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or Silpat mat.

In a large bowl, beat almond paste with a hand held beater until crumbled fine. Sprinkle sugar over the almond paste and continue to beat until incorporated. Beat in egg whites, one at a time and continue beating until dough is smooth.

Place pine nuts on a plate. With a teaspoon, scoop out dough and roll in the pine nuts and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until lightly browned.
