The Buttonwood Inn is conveniently located between the classic New England villages of North Conway and Jackson in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. We are surrounded by the 780,000 + acre White Mountain National Forest with Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast, standing tall over the area. Area family attractions and tax-free shopping are only a short drive away.
In summer … hike or ride endless miles of trails for some spectacular views. Canoe, kayak, tube or fish one of the most popular recreational rivers in the country and only a few miles from the Inn. Outdoor concerts, mountain coasters, and zip lines are just a few of the activities available.
In winter … explore over 400 km of trails on cross country skis or snowshoes. Ski or ride over 350 trails. For some great views, ride the trails on a snowmachine, horse or horse-drawn sleigh.
