About the Buttonwood Inn
An 1820s farmhouse, the inn retains its comfortable country atmosphere with wide pine floors, antiques, stenciling, and murals. In our common rooms, you can appreciate artwork by local artists, including Linda Gray and Rebecca Klementovich. Photographers, Jeffrey Aiello, and Scott Proposki, display their New England scenes, all of which can be purchased directly through them.
Relax at the Inn with your favorite book. You can watch outside for the appearance of deer, wild turkeys, moose, hawks, or hummingbirds. You can also enjoy the outdoor recreation and area activities available in Mt. Washington Valley. Bill is always happy to help you plan your day, offer insights into the area, and provide maps for getting from the inn to there.
We’ll be glad to help you with dinner plans at one of many area restaurants listed under Local Restaurants, which offer everything from local to ethnic cuisine in a casual or fine dining atmosphere.
